Ingredients
  

Onion Rings
  • 2 large onions sliced into rings
  • 1 cup almond flour for coating
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese for coating
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Ingredients
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the onions into rings and set aside.
Prepare the Coating
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
Coat the Onion Rings
  1. Dip each onion ring into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  2. Then, coat the onion ring in the almond flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  3. Place the coated onion rings on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the Onion Rings
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
