Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean ground beef is preferred.
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup Can substitute with cream of chicken.
  • 1 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables Optional, can use peas and carrots.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese For topping.
Topping
  • 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots Approximately 32 oz.

Method
 

Prepare the Beef Mixture
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup and mixed vegetables.
Assemble the Casserole
  1. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  2. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
Bake the Casserole
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
