Prepare the Marinade
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Reserve a small amount of the marinade for glazing later.
Marinate the Salmon
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour for more flavor.
Bake the Salmon
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it in the oven.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- During the last 5 minutes, brush the reserved marinade over the salmon for extra flavor.
Serve
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
