Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on preferred
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional for extra sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for added flavor
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Reserve a small amount of the marinade for glazing later.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  2. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour for more flavor.
Bake the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it in the oven.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. During the last 5 minutes, brush the reserved marinade over the salmon for extra flavor.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  2. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
