Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter melted and cooled slightly
  • 0.25 cups vegetable oil
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups mashed ripe bananas about 3-4 medium bananas
  • 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with vegetable oil or cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Mash the ripe bananas until you have about 1.5 cups. Add the mashed bananas to the wet mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips into the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 50–60 minutes, or until a skewer comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
