Ingredients
  

Shrimp Filling
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Taco Toppings
  • 1 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime lime cut into wedges
Lime Crema
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Taco Shells
  • 8 small corn tortillas

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
Make the Lime Crema
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, and salt until smooth.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  2. Fill each tortilla with shrimp, then top with shredded cabbage, diced tomato, red onion, and cilantro.
  3. Drizzle with lime crema and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes
