Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha adjust to taste
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. Dip each shrimp in buttermilk and then dredge in the flour mixture.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Make the Bang Bang Sauce
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth.
Combine and Serve
  1. Toss the fried shrimp in the Bang Bang sauce until well coated.
  2. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
