Method
Cook Pasta
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook Meat and Vegetables
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the sliced ribeye steak. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
Make Sauce
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the shredded provolone cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
