Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Peanut Butter Filling
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Brownie Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
Make the Peanut Butter Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  2. Dollop the peanut butter filling over the batter, then spread it gently.
  3. Top with the remaining brownie batter, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let cool before cutting into squares.
