Peanut Butter Oreo Bars

Delicious no-bake bars made with creamy peanut butter, crushed Oreos, and a chocolate topping.

Ingredients
  

Base
  • 24 cookies Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Topping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for smoothness

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add peanut butter to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking pan.
Make the Topping
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter Oreo base and spread evenly.
Chill and Serve
  1. Refrigerate the bars for at least 45 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
  2. Once set, cut into squares and serve.
