Pasta
  • 12 oz ziti pasta uncooked
Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup fontina cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese crumbled
Sauce
  • 2 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

Cook Pasta
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Cheese Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, fontina cheese, and gorgonzola cheese. Mix well until combined.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked ziti pasta with marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Then, fold in the cheese mixture until well combined.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish. Top with additional mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
