Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Set aside to allow flavors to meld.
Prepare the Dough
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4 squares.
- Place a generous spoonful of the apple filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a sealed bomb shape.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake the Bombs
- Place the pie bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
