Slider Ingredients
  • 12 pieces slider buns small soft buns
  • 6 slices ham thinly sliced
  • 6 slices turkey thinly sliced
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese or your choice of cheese
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk whole milk preferred
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for flavor
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons butter for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Sliders
  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  2. Assemble the sliders by layering ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese between two slider buns.
  3. Secure each slider with a toothpick to hold them together.
Make the Egg Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Cook the Sliders
  1. Dip each assembled slider in the egg mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  2. Place the sliders in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  3. Add more butter to the skillet as needed while cooking the sliders.
Serve
  1. Remove the sliders from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  2. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
  3. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as raspberry jam or maple syrup.
