Ingredients
  

Sandwich Ingredients
  • 8 slices White Bread
  • 4 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 4 slices Ham
  • 4 slices Turkey
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
Batter Ingredients
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
Cooking Ingredients
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying
  • powdered sugar Powdered Sugar for dusting
  • to taste Maple Syrup for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Sandwich
  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of 4 slices of bread and Dijon mustard on the other side.
  2. Layer Swiss cheese, ham, and turkey on top of the mustard side, then top with another slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  3. Repeat to make a second sandwich.
Make the Batter
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  2. Gradually add flour, whisking until smooth.
Fry the Sandwiches
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Dip each sandwich into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  3. Carefully place the sandwich in the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serve
  1. Remove the sandwiches from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  2. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup on the side.
