Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 500 g bread flour high protein content
  • 400 ml water room temperature
  • 10 g salt
  • 5 g instant yeast
Dusting Ingredients
  • 50 g semolina flour for dusting

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, instant yeast, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the water while mixing until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
Shape the Bread
  1. After the dough has risen, flour your work surface and gently turn the dough out onto it.
  2. Divide the dough into two equal pieces and shape them into rectangular loaves.
  3. Dust the loaves with semolina flour and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Second Rise
  1. Cover the loaves with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 1-2 hours.
Bake the Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Bake the loaves for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crusty.
  3. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
