Ingredients
  

Beef and Rice
  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 2 cups cooked rice white or brown
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup zucchini diced
  • 1 cup green onions sliced
Hot Honey Sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot honey or regular honey with chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Method
 

Cook the Beef
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat and set aside.
Prepare the Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add diced bell pepper and zucchini. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender.
Make the Hot Honey Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix hot honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar until well combined.
Assemble the Bowl
  1. In serving bowls, layer cooked rice, sautéed vegetables, and ground beef. Drizzle with hot honey sauce and top with sliced green onions.
