Method
Prepare the Muffins
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, molasses, eggs, and milk until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Make the Glaze
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the muffins are baked and cooled slightly, drizzle the glaze over the top of each muffin.
- Allow the glaze to set before serving.

Store muffins in an airtight container for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
