Ingredients
  

Chicken and Tortellini
  • 2 cups chicken breast diced
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cook Tortellini
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Chicken
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
Make Sauce
  1. Add minced garlic to the skillet with the chicken and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine
  1. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
