Method
Prepare the Garlic Butter
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
Season the Salmon
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Cook the Salmon
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
Add Garlic Butter
- Pour the garlic butter over the salmon fillets during the last minute of cooking. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
Serve
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and serve immediately, garnished with lemon slices and additional parsley if desired.
