Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shape and Bake
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt in a bowl.
- Brush the garlic butter over the warm rolls immediately after baking.
