Method
Prepare the Base
- In a large mixing bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the Rice Chex and gently mix until evenly coated.
Coat with Mix
- In a separate bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix and powdered sugar.
- Add the cake mix mixture to the coated Rice Chex and stir until well combined.
Add Toppings
- Spread the puppy chow mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and optional sprinkles over the puppy chow.
- Allow to cool and set for about 10 minutes before serving.
