Ingredients
  

Puppy Chow Base
  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips melted
  • 1/2 cup strawberry cake mix
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Toppings
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles optional

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted white chocolate over the Rice Chex and gently mix until evenly coated.
Coat with Mix
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix and powdered sugar.
  2. Add the cake mix mixture to the coated Rice Chex and stir until well combined.
Add Toppings
  1. Spread the puppy chow mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Sprinkle the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and optional sprinkles over the puppy chow.
  3. Allow to cool and set for about 10 minutes before serving.
