Dark Chocolate Raspberry Pie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup fresh raspberries (semi crushed)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F degrees and spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick baking spray.
  2. Cream the softened unsalted butter until creamy using an electric mixer.
  3. Mix in the packed light brown sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt until crumbly.
  4. Press about 1 and 3/4 cups of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake the crust for about 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Melt the sweetened condensed milk and dark chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  7. Pour the chocolate mixture over the warm crust, sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture, and top with semi-crushed raspberries and mini chocolate chips.
