Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
Mix-ins
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Cookies
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  4. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
