Method
Prepare the Soup
- Place the chicken, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in the crock pot.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cook
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Add Cream and Pasta
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Add the pasta and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
Serve
- Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
