Ingredients
  

Chicken and Gravy
  • 2 cups chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup gravy store-bought or homemade
Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 large potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup milk warm
  • 1/4 cup butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Corn
  • 1 can corn drained
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped

Method
 

Prepare Mashed Potatoes
  1. Boil the diced potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add warm milk and butter, then mash until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
Cook Chicken
  1. In a frying pan, heat the cooked shredded chicken over medium heat.
  2. Add the gravy to the chicken and stir until heated through.
Assemble Bowls
  1. In serving bowls, layer the mashed potatoes, followed by the corn, then the chicken and gravy mixture.
  2. Top with shredded cheese and chopped green onions before serving.
