Ingredients
  

Muffin Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

Prepare Muffin Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Bake Muffins
  1. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the muffin batter.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Finish and Serve
  1. Remove the muffins from the oven and brush with melted butter.
  2. Let them cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!
