Ingredients
  

Chicken Alfredo Filling
  • 1 lb ground chicken can substitute with shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
Buns
  • 4 pieces burger buns toasted if desired
Garnish
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken Alfredo Filling
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add the Alfredo sauce to the skillet and stir to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes.
Assemble the Sloppy Joes
  1. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted burger bun.
  2. Top with chopped parsley and place the top half of the bun on each sandwich.
  3. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
