Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 1 lb ground chicken or shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste
Buns
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns toasted if desired
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
  • 1 cup fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add diced bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet, cooking until vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the Alfredo sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
Assemble the Sloppy Joes
  1. Spoon the chicken filling onto the bottom half of each toasted hamburger bun.
  2. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and garnish with chopped parsley.
  3. Place the top half of the bun on each sandwich and serve immediately.
