Prepare the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple chunks, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
Cook the Chicken
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
Add Sauce
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Reduce heat to low and cover. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle with the remaining sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.
