Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for marinade
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for coating
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Vegetables
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 1 bell pepper red sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Marinate Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine sliced chicken, soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Prepare Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water. Set aside.
Stir-Fry Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
Cook Vegetables
  1. In the same wok, add mushrooms, bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Combine and Serve
  1. Return the chicken to the wok, add the sauce, and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve hot.
