Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1/4 cup apple butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup Cinnamon Sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Cream together the butter, apple butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cinnamon, flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until a dough forms.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  7. Shape the dough into balls, roll in cinnamon sugar, and place on a baking sheet.
