  • 1 cup quinoa cooked and cooled
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips at least 70% cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt optional

Method
 

Prepare Quinoa
  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions, then let it cool completely.
  2. Spread the cooked quinoa on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Melt Chocolate
  1. In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate chips until smooth.
Combine and Bake
  1. Pour the melted chocolate over the quinoa and mix until evenly coated.
  2. Spread the chocolate-coated quinoa back onto the baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until crispy.
Cool and Serve
  1. Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
  2. Serve as a crunchy snack or dessert.
