  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until the butter melts.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the white apple vinegar or chicken broth; let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, capers, and lemon zest; season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Cook for another 1–2 minutes before removing from heat.
  6. If desired, stir in chopped parsley before drizzling over your meal.
