  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed (1 stick)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat the butter and pumpkin puree until combined; add sugar and mix well.
  4. Incorporate eggs and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture alternating with milk until well combined.
  6. Prepare the crumb topping by mixing cold butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until crumbly.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the dish; sprinkle half of the crumb topping over it.
  8. Add remaining batter followed by remaining crumbs; bake for 45-55 minutes.
