  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (or dried cranberries)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze) + orange juice

Instructions

  1. Warm milk; mix with sugar and yeast. Let sit until frothy.
  2. Stir in melted butter, egg (or flax egg), and orange juice until combined.
  3. Gradually add flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until soft dough forms; knead until smooth.
  4. Let dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Prepare filling by mixing cranberries, orange zest, juice, and spices.
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly and roll tightly.
  7. Cut into rolls; place in greased baking dish and let rise again (30 minutes).
