  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast (cubed)

  • 4 medium celery ribs (sliced)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 medium jalapeño (minced)
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) great northern beans (drained)
  • 1/2 pound raw shrimp (peeled, deveined)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Stir in diced onion, celery, bell pepper, and minced jalapeño; cook for an additional 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and stir for 1–2 minutes to release flavors.
  4. Gradually pour in chicken broth and add the great northern beans. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in shrimp and heavy cream; cook until shrimp are pink, about 2–3 minutes.
