  • 1 pkg Extra Firm Tofu
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • 1 tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and enhance marinade absorption.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, mustard, thyme, smoked paprika, maple syrup, nutritional yeast, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Slice the pressed tofu into thick slabs and marinate in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the marinated tofu on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving with your favorite sides.
