  • 1 1/4 cups milk (regular, oat milk, or almond milk)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (regular or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp regular milk, oat milk, or almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, milk, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture while stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the blueberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into a greased donut pan and fill each cavity about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown and springy to touch.
  7. While cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Once slightly cooled, dip each donut into the glaze or drizzle it on top.
